BCMH Fund Raising through Amazon

Amazon has a program of giving .5% of your purchase to the charity of your choice. Congregation Bikur Cholim is one of the charities. This is a great way to raise funds for the shul without incurring extra charges or financial burdens.

These are the steps:

  1. Go to Amazon Smile: https://smile.amazon.com/ & sign onto your account.
  2. Choose your charity (Congregation Bikur Cholim-Machzikay Hadath)
  3. In the future, sign on to Smile.Amazon.com to make sure .5% of your purchase goes to the shul. There is no extra charge for doing this; rather, it simply comes off the total you pay to Amazon. NOTE: You must sign on to Smile.Amazon.Com for the donation to be given. If you sign on to Amazon.Com or use your phone, the charity will not receive any credit.

Bikur Cholim Committee needs volunteers

The Bikur Cholim Committee, chaired by Shelly Russak and Sandi Kaplan are in need of volunteers to help reach out and keep in contact with our shul members who need home visits or telephone outreach. If you are interested in volunteering in any capacity, please click on the link and complete the form.

Note: If you have anyone you would like to add to the cholim list that we say on Shabbos, have an upcoming simcha or chiuv (obligation), or would like to volunteer to Layn a parsha or daven from the amud on Shabbos, please contact our Gabbai: Ari Polsky
